There are several committees within Books for a Better World that you may join. See below for a list of committees and what they do.







Fundraising
Help coordinate events to raise money for the organization.
Book Logistics
Help organize books, boxes, packing lists, labels, and shipping.

Budget and Audit
Help us to maintain our fiscal stability by creating yearly budgets and tracking our expenditures against it.
Donor and Teacher Newsletters
Help us to prepare and send our yearly publications to update our donors about our mission and to help teachers to use our books and school supplies in the classroom.

Public Relations
Help us to get out press releases, arrange PR opportunities, maintain a strong social media presence, create informational publications about our organization, and maintain our website.

Archives
Help record Books for a Better World history, organize documents and photographs, and keep an accurate donor and mailing list.
Volunteer Coordination
Help us to recruit year-round and travel volunteers, welcome and orient volunteers, maintain a list of volunteers, and facilitate communication and planning with volunteers.

Battle of the Books
Help with our yearly Battle of the Books event in Indiana, which is a competition aimed at promoting reading among elementary and middle school aged students.
Literacy Travel Ambassador
