On June 11, The Pine Book Club of Pine, Arizona had one goal in mind: to raise $350 for Books for a Better World in order to adopt a library in Central America. This small amount would allow Books for a Better World to be able to provide children’s books to one lucky community school in Central America.

The book club had all sorts of interesting items to sell including bicycles, sleds, toys, clothes, books, shoes, household items and more. They made delicious cookies to sell and by the end of their day, they made their goal and were successful in funding a library. The members had such a great time and are thinking about making the yard sale a yearly event.
